FARM & ARTS DAY CAMP
Day Camp for Campers ages 8-13
At Farm & Arts Day Camp, children are immersed in the wonder and beauty of nature through farming, food, and nature-based crafts. This two-week day camp offers a unique opportunity for children ages 8-13 to connect with the earth on our 900-acre Biodynamic farm and explore their creativity through crafts and cooking.
Each day, campers will experience the joy of working on a real farm—helping to care for animals, tending to the garden, and discovering where their food comes from. Campers will also have the chance to participate in classic camp activities like archery, tie-dye, and swimming at our pond.
Camp runs Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with a fun, engaging mix of farm work, artistic expression, and outdoor adventure. Farm & Arts Day Camp is the perfect opportunity for children to explore, learn, and grow, all while having a blast with new friends.

the children’s garden
Campers will spend time in the Children’s Garden, where they will help with harvesting, planting, weeding, and sifting compost. The gardeners will take breaks under the shady arbor, enjoying refreshing 'Garden Tea' and sampling fresh vegetables.
the kitchen
Each day, a group of cooks or bakers comes together to celebrate diverse cultures through kitchen creations. What’s abundant in the garden often inspires our dishes, with the harvest guiding our menu. Dairy products from our cows and fresh eggs from our chickens complete the farm-to-table experience.
Campers should bring a lunch from home each day. The cooks and bakers will prepare snacks for everyone to enjoy!
caring for the animals
Campers assist with a variety of important morning chores, including leading the sheep to pasture, collecting eggs, feeding scraps to the pigs, and socializing newborn calves.
exploring our
farm & forests
The forests, streams, and ponds surrounding the farm offer plenty to explore. Sharing observations and collecting natural items for use in craft activities are key elements of our camp experience.
arts & crafts
After lunch, campers enjoy an afternoon activity, which may include swimming in our spring-fed pond or creating beautiful and practical crafts from locally sourced natural materials. We always incorporate wool from our sheep, and campers may also work with materials like clay, wood, glass, and beeswax.
