Hawthorne Valley Farm is a 900-acre diversified farm in Ghent, New York. The Farm’s Place-based Learning Center serves as a resource to inspire, strengthen, and transform the connection between people and the living land with the goal of providing opportunities to children for farm-based, artistic experiences within the context of a working biodynamic farm.
Farm & Arts Day Camp Counselors are responsible for guiding children ages 8 to 13 through daily farm, cooking, craft, and garden activities during each 10-day camp session. All Hawthorne Valley Summer Camp staff must be committed to fostering an inclusive, safe, and welcoming environment for both campers and fellow staff members.
